“Mystery guest” confirmed for The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on Radio 2.
The United Kingdom’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 has been selected and is set to be officially announced this Wednesday on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2. Following the radio reveal, the chosen act will make a guest appearance on The One Show that same evening.
The station has confirmed a “mystery guest” will join Scott on the show, and eagle-eyed fans are convinced that means this year’s UK entry will finally be named.

While the BBC has not yet confirmed the identity of the UK’s representative, reports suggest that the country-pop trio Remember Monday has been selected to fly the flag for the UK in Basel, Switzerland, this May. The group, comprising Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull, and Charlotte Steele, gained national attention during their participation in The Voice UK in 2019 and have since built a substantial following, including over 500,000 TikTok followers.
Scott Mills, who will announce the act on his breakfast show, recently revealed that he has heard the UK’s Eurovision entry and described it as “good,” though he remained tight-lipped about further details.
The Eurovision Song Contest airs this May on BBC One and iPlayer.
