Prices for the 4K HDR Sky Glass Gen 2 TV start at only £14 per month.
Sky has officially introduced the next-generation Sky Glass TV, now featuring an even brighter 4K HDR screen and an upgraded built-in seven-speaker Dolby Atmos® sound system.
The new Sky Glass Gen 2 will be available for purchase from February 12, starting at just £14 per month via Sky.com, Sky retail stores, Sky call centres, and Currys.co.uk. It will also be hitting the shelves in Currys stores soon.

Sky Glass is the only television with Sky TV built-in, eliminating the need for a dish or separate box by streaming content seamlessly over Wi-Fi. Designed for a truly immersive entertainment experience, it integrates a sleek aesthetic with cinematic sound, 4K HDR picture quality, and intelligent Sky OS software—all in one device with a single cable.
Customers can choose from three screen sizes: 43”, 55”, and 65”, and three stylish updated colours: Volcanic Grey, Arctic Silver, and Atlantic Blue.
A 4K Advanced HDR TV
The enhanced 4K Quantum Dot display delivers stunningly clear visuals, while advanced HDR and precision contrast technology ensure deeper blacks and brighter highlights. With an improved viewing angle and an even more vivid display, every scene comes to life with greater realism.
Sky Glass automatically adapts the picture and sound based on what’s playing, ensuring content is viewed exactly as intended. The refreshed picture modes—Entertainment, Movies, Music, Auto, Vivid, Extra Vivid, and Sport—further enhance every moment.
Re-engineered Sound. Built-in.
Sky Glass Gen 2 has been redesigned to deliver richer, 360° cinematic audio. The upgraded Dolby Atmos® sound system now includes seven integrated speakers, featuring a soundbar and dual subwoofers for deeper bass and improved vocal clarity.
From helicopters soaring overhead to the roar of a stadium crowd, viewers can experience immersive sound without the need for an external soundbar—offering savings of at least 30% compared to purchasing a separate UHD TV and sound system.
Fraser Stirling, Global Chief Product Officer for Comcast and Sky, commented: “We created Sky Glass to make watching TV effortless, bringing together the best of Sky and streaming apps in one place. Sky Glass Gen 2 enhances that experience with a brighter screen and even more immersive sound. Plus, with flexible payment options, it’s now more affordable than ever to enjoy Sky TV.”
Designed to Complement Any Home
The three new colours—Volcanic Grey, Arctic Silver, and Atlantic Blue—are curated to suit contemporary interiors. Even the remote and speaker fascia are colour-matched to the TV for a seamless look.
Setting up Sky Glass is easy: simply unpack, place it on the stand, connect to Wi-Fi, and start watching Sky, Netflix, and other streaming apps in minutes. The redesigned stand makes assembly effortless, with a simple slide-on mechanism requiring no tools or screws. Alternatively, customers can opt for the new bespoke wall mount, which tilts, swivels, and sits flush against the wall. Sky Glass is also compatible with universal TV mounts.
Powered by Sky OS
Sky Glass Gen 2 runs on Sky OS, the intelligent platform behind Sky’s seamless TV experience. Since launch, it has received over 500 new features and updates, continually enhancing usability.
Sky OS simplifies entertainment by consolidating content from Sky and various streaming apps into one easy-to-navigate interface. It learns user preferences, curating personalized collections based on viewing habits. The Playlist feature allows users to save favourites from different apps in one place and automatically records previous and future episodes, even if they switch platforms.
Sky Glass also includes a far-field microphone powered by Comcast’s global voice technology, enabling hands-free control. Simply say, “Hello Sky…” to find shows, search by actor or genre, adjust the volume, fast-forward, pause, or add content to Playlist.
Affordable Sky TV Experience from Just £29
Customers can purchase Sky Glass with flexible payment options, paying upfront or in interest-free monthly instalments starting at £14 per month for the 43” model, £19 per month for the 55”, and £24 per month for the 65”.
They can also select their preferred TV subscription: a 24-month plan for the best value or a 31-day rolling contract for maximum flexibility.
Sky is also introducing the new Essential TV pack for just £15 a month, offering over 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic, plus Netflix favourites like Squid Game and Stranger Things, along with Discovery+ documentaries and reality shows. For even more entertainment, Sky Ultimate TV is available for £22 per month, featuring additional channels such as Sky Max, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime.
