The Last Of Us season 2 trailer

Sky has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of its exclusive drama series The Last of Us. The seven-episode season will premiere on Monday, April 14, on Sky and streaming service NOW, with new episodes available every subsequent Monday.

Set five years after the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie find themselves facing new challenges, torn between each other and a world even more perilous and unpredictable than before.

The returning cast for season two includes Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. New cast members previously announced are Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. Catherine O’Hara will also make a guest appearance.

The Last of Us, based on the critically acclaimed video game franchise by Naughty Dog for PlayStation® consoles, is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The series is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television, with executive producers Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells, along with writer and co-executive producer Halley Gross. The production companies involved include PlayStation Productions, Word Games, Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog.
