Nick Grimshaw will present ‘The Bad Dog Academy’, a revamped version of ‘The Dog Academy’, for Channel 4.
The original series won the Best Factual Entertainment and Features at the 2024 RTS West Awards, and will return with the slightly tweaked name later in the year.
The Bad Dog Academy follows a crack team of dog trainers, specialists in positive training methods, as they transform the nation’s naughtiest canines… and their humans.

Nick Grimshaw told The Sun: “I’ve always loved dogs, so getting to be around loads at once has been a dream.”
Nick isn’t shy about what his canine companions mean to him. He has often shared his love for his current dog, a cocker spaniel named “Liv“, on the radio and on Instagram.
It’s the latest in a string of shows the 6 Music Breakfast Show presenter has fronted for Channel 4 in the last couple of years. He hosted ‘The Great Home Transformation’ with Emma Willis and ‘The Underdog: Josh Must Win’ which aired on E4.
Nick is also a regular on Celebrity Gogglebox.
Watch the original series of ‘The Dog Academy’ on catch-up service, Channel 4.
