Number One on the Call Sheet is a major new two-part documentary series from Apple TV Plus in which some of the biggest black men and women in Hollywood discuss their experiences in the industry. Here we preview what it’s about and which celebs are in it.
The first episode features Black Women, and includes insights from Cynthia Erivo, Whoopi Goldberg, Halle Berry, Angela Bassett, Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis and Ruth Negga.
The second episode features leading black men in Hollywood, including Morgan Freeman, Will Smith, Eddie Murphy, Ice Cube, Idris Elba, Denzel Washington, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jamie Foxx.
Apple TV Plus recently celebrated the series with a premiere in New York. Producer and contributor Kevin Hart told attendees “I personally think ‘Number One on the Call Sheet’ idea is genius — one of the best ideas I’ve ever been able to be a part of — especially in the space of documentary and storytelling.”
Director Reginald Hudlin added, “This is a movie of winners. They all have their own path and their own way to success. And whether you are in the entertainment business or not, I think there are lessons to come from all of these amazing men and women.”

The two-part documentary film event “Number One on the Call Sheet” premieres on Apple TV+ globally 28 March.
