“The Gorge” premieres globally on Apple TV+ this Friday, February 14, 2025
Last night, Apple Original Films hosted the world premiere of its highly anticipated feature, “The Gorge,” at AMC Theatres at The Grove in Los Angeles. The film is set to debut globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, February 14, 2025.
The premiere event saw the attendance of key cast and crew, including star and executive producer Miles Teller, co-star Anya Taylor-Joy, director and producer Scott Derrickson, screenwriter and producer Zach Dean, and producers David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, C. Robert Cargill, Sherryl Clark, Adam Kolbrenner, and Gregory Goodman. Additional notable attendees included editor Frédéric Thoraval, VFX supervisor Erik Nordby, stunt coordinator Brycen Counts, and post-production supervisor Patsy Bouge, among others.

In “The Gorge,” two highly trained operatives, played by Teller and Taylor-Joy, are stationed in watchtowers on opposite sides of a vast and classified gorge. Tasked with guarding against an unknown yet menacing force, they form a bond from afar while remaining vigilant. As the true nature of the catastrophic threat is revealed, they must unite in both physical and mental resilience to contain the secret hidden within the gorge before time runs out.
An Apple Original Film, “The Gorge” is directed by Scott Derrickson and written by Zach Dean, produced by Skydance Media. The film is produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger for Skydance, alongside Derrickson, C. Robert Cargill, and Sherryl Clark through Crooked Highway, with Adam Kolbrenner, Dean, and Gregory Goodman also producing. Teller serves as an executive producer. The cast also features Sigourney Weaver and Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù.
