How to apply for The Answer Run, as Jason Manfords quiz announces return!

BBC Daytime has greenlit a second series of the hit quiz show The Answer Run for BBC One and iPlayer.  Hosted by Jason Manford, fans can apply to take part now at bbc.co.uk/takepart

This high-energy quiz challenges three pairs of contestants to think fast and act even faster. With every question, they’re just one swipe away from adding to their winnings or being eliminated. Viewers at home can also join in and see how they measure up against The Run! Filming for the new 25-episode series (each 45 minutes long) is set to take place in Glasgow this March.

In each thrilling round of this 50/50 quiz, contestants are presented with two possible answers. As questions speed down The Run, they must swipe toward the correct option under intense time pressure—will they make the right call?

Categories will cover a wide range of topics, from “Ariana Grande or Taylor Swift” to “Jupiter or Mars” and more.

As teams are gradually eliminated, only one pair will remain to take on The Final Run, where they’ll compete to claim their banked winnings.

Jason Manford comments, “I’m delighted to be back on BBC One with a second series of The Answer Run. As predicted, it’s become an addictive TV quiz show that the whole family can get involved in, shouting at the telly. I can’t wait for the new series to air later this year with you lot sat watching at home thinking you could do better.
