ITV Daytime is introducing a brand-new show, Time is Money, hosted by Sara Davies (Dragons’ Den).

Sara Davies said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be hosting Time Is Money. This show is unlike anything you’ve seen before — it’s full-on, it’s exhilarating, and the pressure is real. It’s going to be a rollercoaster of excitement and tension, and I can’t wait to see who’ll keep their cool under pressure. Get ready for a make or break adventure, because time really is money!”

ITV1’s daytime viewership share is more than double that of Channel 4 and Channel 5 combined, and ITV’s daytime share exceeds Netflix’s by 10 points, making it the leading platform in the space.

The Chase has remained the number one daytime show since 2017, holding this position for nine consecutive years. It showed growth in January compared to the previous year, with 18 episodes already surpassing 3 million viewers. Since the launch of ITVX, the show has been the second most-watched fast channel, and its streams were up by 27% in January.

Deal or No Deal continues to perform strongly, with ten episodes in 2025 attracting over 2 million viewers each. The show has also seen significant growth on ITVX, generating 10 million streams in 2024, and in the first eight weeks of 2025, it has already reached 6.8 million streams.

Lingo is also performing well, with a 14% increase in viewership compared to Q1 2024. On January 24, 2025, it reached 1.1 million viewers, marking its largest audience since 2023. The show has been streamed 3.2 million times on ITVX over the past eight weeks, almost half of its total streams for the entire previous year (7 million).

Tipping Point is averaging 1.6 million viewers per episode, with a peak of 2 million. The show achieved 22 million streams on ITVX in 2024, and has already surpassed 3 million streams in 2025.

Further enhancing its already strong daytime offering, ITV is introducing Time is Money, a high-stakes quiz show that promises to add more excitement to the afternoon lineup on ITV1 and ITVX. Co-produced by South Shore and Plegazoid, the show features a unique twist: contestants start with their prize money already at risk and must race against the clock to keep it. Incorrect answers result in the loss of prize money. Time is Money will be hosted by Sara Davies, the entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den star, whose wit and engaging style make her the ideal host to navigate contestants through the tense rounds of this fast-paced competition.

With unpredictable twists and high drama, Time is Money will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The final player remaining will take home whatever prize money they’ve managed to save, making every decision crucial.
