He soon identifies an anti-nuclear activist with personal hatred for the chief administrative officer at Larkskill. But he is not the only one to have come into conflict with the outspoken woman. Meanwhile, the recent disappearance of a Larkskill engineer raises puzzling questions for the detectives.
As the death count rises, a question mark begins to hang over the assumptions underpinning the police investigation.
