Channel 5’s brand new reboot of All Creatures Great and Small will be a highlight on the channel this Christmas, The Version can confirm.
The gentle drama centres around a trio of veterinary surgeons working in the Yorkshire Dales. The remake of the classic series comes in the 50th anniversary year of the James Herriot novels first being published.The five part series got off to a great start, winning 3.3million viewers for the first episode.
All Creatures Great and Small stars Nicholas Ralph as James Herriot, along with Samuel West, Callum Woodhouse, Anna Madeley and Rachel Shenton. Diana Rigg, Nigel Havers and Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis will all guest star.

All Creatures Great and Small will also air on Masterpiece in America from January.
