Legendary sitcom Friends is making a return to terrestrial TV for the first time in the UK since Channel 5 aired five hours of Friends episodes back-to-back in 2015 to celebrate the show’s 21st anniversary.
The smash hit comedy series, recently revealed as the most streamed TV show in the UK, will air twice daily on Channel 5 from 4pm every weekday.
Joey, Chandler, Rachel and co will be on the channel from Monday 3 September.
Friends is currently available on Comedy Central UK which is owned by Viacom, who also own Channel 5. It’s also available via Netflix.
Friends was originally shown on Channel 4, where it attracted a huge audience of 8.6 million for the finale in 2004. E4 then aired repeats until 2011.
