Gok Wan to join Harriet Scott as new Magic Breakfast host

Presenter and broadcaster, Gok Wan, was revealed this morning as the new co-host of Magic Radio Breakfast. He will join Harriet Scott permanently every weekday from Monday January 27th.

Gok Wan said: ‘I am beyond excited to be joining the Magic Radio Breakfast team. I have loved working with the crew and of course getting to know our fabulous listeners. I have truly fallen in love with radio and I don’t even mind the early mornings, I’m an early riser anyway! We are going to have a brilliant time and I want you all to join us in the daily fun. Harriet is a wonderful co-host and I can’t wait for our Magic to happen!’

Listeners were quick to congratulate Gok on the new role, with one commenting on Instagram, ‘Literally the best news ever’ while another said Amazing news, the chemistry between the two of you is amazing. I couldn’t think of a better combo after Ronan left.’

Harriet has been the co-host of Magic Radio Breakfast since 2017 and frequently interviews stars on the show including most recently KylieRick Astley and stars of the new Disney+ show Rivals, Danny Dyer and Emily Atack.

Harriet added, ‘I know that our listeners are going to love spending their mornings with Gok just as much as I do. We’re all going to have some adventures together in 2025 and I can’t wait!’

Ahead of Gok joining the show on a permanent basis, Harriet Scott will be joined by a number of co-hosts, including Gok, as well as Magic Soul broadcaster Lemar and McFly’s Harry Judd both taking a turn in the Magic Radio Breakfast hot seat as well.
